Our first Pantry Picnic at Swezey-Avey House on August 6, 2017, was a great success, filling the food pantry at The Veterans' Place in Yaphank ![]() On May 6th, our chapter welcomed home veterans returning to MacArthur Airport after their Honor Flight for a Free Genealogy Workshop at Patchogue-Medford Library on March 12, 2016 On June 2nd, 2012, our chapter joined with the Anna Smith Strong Chapter to honor New York State Regent Denise Doring VanBuren (center) at our annual luncheon Members marked the grave of chapter patriot Colonel Josiah Smith, October 2010 | Dale Jacobi (center), our Chapter Registrar, represented us and presented American flags to twelve new U.S. citizens at the Mastic Shirley Library on June 4, 2017 Graham Nathan, a member of Captain Austin Roe Chapter N.S.C.A.R., won first place at the state and regional levels in the JAC Park Stamp Competition.
