Scholarships

The purpose of the DAR Scholarship Committee is to provide means to aid worthy students in meeting the expenses of higher education.  With this in mind, the Col. Josiah Smith Chapter created the following scholarships to assist deserving high school seniors from the greater Patchogue area:

• Col. Josiah Smith Chapter General Scholarship

• Col. Josiah Smith Chapter Child of a Veteran Scholarship
